There has been a flurry of executive orders by Trump
US President Donald Trump signed an emergency order to withdraw from the World Health Organization (WHO) on Monday. In 1948, a joint resolution was passed by both Houses of Congress, stating that US needed to give the WHO one year’s notice if they wanted to withdraw. The emergency order will allow US Agencies to identify energy projects where federal regulations and laws are holding up progress.

A study found that for 11 of the 100 children with severe malaria in Uganda, it took longer than normal to kill at least half the parasites in the bloodstream. World Health Organization’s Regional Emergency Director for the Eastern Mediterranean region Rick Brennan said, “We hope to even bring a mobile laboratory from outside.” The WHO has said that if disease-restrained efforts are not stepped up in Gaza, there is a chance of more lives being saved than the combat if disease-restrained efforts are not stepped up.

Hospitals can be protected in war
Over 11,000 people have been killed in Gaza Strip since fighting between Israel and Hamas started on October 7, mostly civilians, Gaza’s Health Ministry said. On Saturday, bombs fell on al-Maghazi refugee camp, killing at least 45. On Friday, Israel struck an ambulance convoy at Gaza’s largest medical facility, Al-Shifa Hospital, killing at least 13, according to the World Health Organization.
