Extreme weather dominates in the U.S
Snow and cold conditions will reach parts of the US in coming days, the National Weather Service has said. “The cold weather is expected to stick around going into next week with dangerously low temperatures and wind chills through at least midweek,” it added. The cold weather is also expected to affect US states of Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming.

A big storm is on the way, after a weekend storm brought snow to parts of Northeast
A winter storm is expected to impact the northeastern US from Saturday and Sunday. The storm is expected to dump between 1 and 3 inches of snow in northern and central Virginia, and up to a foot of snow and wind gusts as high as 40 miles per hour are anticipated in Rhode Island and central, eastern and western Massachusetts.
