An ophthalmologist at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London has developed an artificial intelligence (AI) model that predicts what missing portions of retinal photos and scans should look like. Pearse Keane and his colleagues used 1.6 million retinal photos and scans to learn how to predict what missing portions of the images should look like.
