A judge ordered Trump to stop using the National Guard in LA
The US Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday defended the decision to deploy the National Guard to Los Angeles amid protests against a crackdown on immigration by President Donald Trump. “First time I’ve ever seen it,” Gregory Bovino, head of Customs and Border Protection in Los Angeles, said. “It’s a form of rebellion against the authority of the government of the US,” he added.

The FBI said that it has identified the suspect in the explosion at a US fertility clinic that killed one person. Akil Davis, an Assistant Director in charge of the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office, said that investigators believe the perpetrator was attempting to live stream the bombing. The blast cut through the American Reproductive Centers (ARC) fertility clinic.

A new fire broke out in Southern California on Monday night, adding to the string of fires there in the past week that left over 20 people dead. The Hurst Fire north of LOS ANGELES was 97% contained, Cal Fire said. The National Weather Service forecasted high winds up to 70 kilometres per hour in Los Angeles and Ventura counties through Wednesday.
