I don’t think we need beautiful children,” Trump added. Earlier, Trump had said he would not use a 19th-century anti-obscenity law to restrict abortion pills.

Trump’s comments come after NBC News interviewer Kamala Harris asked him about “reproductive rights in the post-Roe era”. During a town hall on Monday, Trump responded, “We need beautiful children in our country.”

An Israeli Airstrike killed at least 10 people in a school-turned-shelter in Gaza City, Israel’s military said on Tuesday. The military added that the strike targeted a Hamas command centre. The operation had taken place inside the vast tunnel network of Hamas, Israel’s Defence Minister said. Over 40,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israel-Hamas conflict that began on September 7.
