Research suggests that aural pain is caused by spinal fluid
Scientists have claimed to have discovered a new chemical process that could turn old clothes into useful molecules within three minutes. Researchers used radiocarbon dating to estimate the age of the mounds to be 34,000 years old. Using the method, they estimated the mounds to be 3,000 years old, making them the oldest known known inhabited mounds by some 3,000 years.

At least 20 people were killed and 82 others were injured after a Russian fighter jet bombed a children’s hospital in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv on Monday, the country’s military said. It added that the strike was an “act of terror” against civilians. The Russian military said that it had conducted an airstrike on a target in Ukraine’s Mykolaiv region.

At least 9 people have died as Hurricane ylbe made landfall in Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula on Thursday, the US National Hurricane Center said. Hurricane ylbe is forecast to move inland across northern Yucatan Peninsula during the day. Further, a storm surge of four to six feet and damaging waves are expected as the storm moves inland.

The US Department of Labor is planning to propose a rule that would mandate employers to have plans in place for injury and illness prevention. It would require employers to provide a 15-minute paid rest break every two hours when the heat index hits 90C. Tropical Cyclone Beryl, which is the earliest Atlantic Hurricane to reach a Category 5 designation, has weakened to a Category 3 storm. The winds will rapidly increase within the eyewall, the US National Hurricane Center (NHC) said. Barbados warned against a tropical hurricane on Monday after Beryl had passed onto the island of Carriacou and Petite Martinique.

The US Supreme Court has ruled that it’s protected by the First Amendment to the US Constitution to allow social media companies to decide what content is made available on their platforms. The court also ruled that social media platforms have the right to decide what is and is not allowed to be published on their own platforms.
