The Rise of Porn Bots: Biden’s First Speech of 2024 and the Impact on Social Media’s Widest Decay

“This is truly Biden’s first speech of what is going to be a difficult 2024 general election fight,” NPR’s Tamara Keith tells Up First. Sarada said that the performance of Biden is more important than his policy focused speech. Biden and Republicans had a back-and-forth discussion about social security. If Biden gets another chance to go off-script and make up, it’s likely to be a lot of fun for Democrats who are worried about his age.

Alabama’s Gov. Kay Ivey has signed into law a bill that will protect in vitro fertilization clinics from criminal and legal prosecution. The state Supreme Court ruled last month that frozen embryos have a constitutional right to life, which caused many clinics to stop treatment.

Exactly five months after the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks, Israel’s counteroffensive has killed more than 30,000 Palestinians. Biden expressed empathy for the rising civilian death toll, and called on Israel to do more to allow aid into Gaza. Democrats and voters have been pushing for a permanent truce, but he stopped short of calling for it.

Biden’s 2024 State of the Union Address: “It’s not an ordinary day of the year 2024,” he added

The State of the Union is one of the biggest television audiences the president will have all year. There are a few moments that you might have missed.

Biden said that this was no ordinary moment. He compared the state of the union address to that given by FDR in January 1941, when war raged in Europe and “freedom and democracy were under assault.”

It is critical that the U.S. stands by Ukrainians in their war against Russia, more than two years after the Russian invasion, said Biden. He urged Congress to pass a bipartisan bill to provide aid to Ukraine, which is currently being held up by the Republicans.

Kate Cox is a Texas woman who was forced to travel out of state for an abortion when she found out she had a genetic condition that made her fetus almost always fatal. The Alabama supreme court ruled that frozen embryos could be used to create legally children after Latorya had her IVF treatments paused.

He pledged to enshrine the protections of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that established the right to an abortion before it was overturned in 2022, in federal law, “if Americans send me a Congress that supports the right to choose.”

The bipartisan deal that Biden wanted Congress to revive would have given foreign assistance with border security measures. The deal fell apart after Trump and Republicans came out against it.

Later in the speech, Biden got into a back-and-forth with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene about Laken Riley, a University of Georgia student who was killed last month. The immigrant was arrested in connection with her death.

An Address to the Problems of Human Rights and Democracy in Israel: Opening the Door to Freedom and Demonstration in the Age of President Biden

Biden also announced the U.S. military will establish a new temporary pier on the Mediterranean coast of Gaza to help deliver food, water, medicine and other aid to the territory.

The president’s age has been raised by voters from both parties. He winked and nodded in acknowledgement of those concerns, saying, “I know it may not look like that, but I have been around a while.”

He said that certain things become clearer when you are his age. My lifetime teaches me to embrace freedom and democracy based on core values which have defined America in honesty, decency, dignity and equality. To respect everyone, to give everyone a fair shot, to give hate no safe harbor.”

In his first State of the Union address as US President, Joe Biden said it’s critical that the country stands by Ukrainians in their war against Russia. Biden added it’s important that the US stands by Israel in its war with Russia. Biden also announced the US military will establish a new temporary pier on the Mediterranean coast of Gaza.
